About the Role

The Remote UX Designer will work closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to shape user-friendly digital environments. You'll translate complex requirements into delightful experiences through wireframes, prototypes, and interface elements that reflect both aesthetic sensibilities and usability. With each project, you’ll have the opportunity to work on products that prioritize people’s lives, needs, and behaviors across a broad spectrum of global users.

This role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work in an environment where you feel most inspired. Whether you're sketching from a sunlit studio or collaborating on a brainstorm call from your kitchen table, your ideas will have a place here.

Key Responsibilities

Empathetic Design Thinking

• Conduct in-depth user analysis and usability testing to gather meaningful insights.
• Create personas, user journeys, and empathy maps to guide design direction
• Design with accessibility, inclusion, and user comfort as top priorities

Collaborative Experience Building

• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop UX strategies aligned with business goals
• Facilitate design workshops and feedback sessions that invite diverse perspectives
• Translate abstract ideas into clear, user-centered design solutions

Creative Design Execution

• Build wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Apply UX best practices to improve existing features and user flows
• Refine interface designs based on real user feedback and performance metrics

User Advocacy

• Champion user needs and advocate for an inclusive design process
• Integrate design decisions that cater to different user capabilities, cultures, and devices
• Collaborate with content designers to ensure UX writing is accessible and user-focused

Tools & Technologies

We support your creativity with modern tools and platforms:

• Figma and Adobe XD for design and prototyping
• Maze and UserTesting for remote usability studies
• Jira, Trello, and Miro for task tracking and collaboration
• Google Workspace and Slack for seamless remote communication

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio of digital projects
• Proficiency in user research methodologies and usability testing
• Mastery in using design tools such as Figma or Sketch
• Knowledge of designing for accessibility and applying inclusive design strategies
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in distributed teams

Preferred Attributes

• Experience designing for mobile-first platforms and responsive web
• Background in human-computer interaction or psychology
• Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS) is a plus
• Passion for advocating user needs in diverse, real-world contexts
