What You'll Be Doing

Navigating Recruitment with Heart and Strategy

  • Drive End-to-End Hiring Cycles: Manage full-cycle recruitment across various roles and industries, from scoping job requirements to extending offers.
  • Champion Diverse Hiring Practices: Infuse inclusion into every search strategy, ensuring fair representation of candidates from diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Act as a consultative partner to hiring managers, providing market insights, candidate feedback, and best practices for hiring.
  • Craft Authentic Candidate Experiences: Provide timely updates, honest communication, and thoughtful engagement that respects candidates' time and aspirations.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with marketing, operations, and DEI teams to elevate job branding and accessibility.
  • Leverage Tech Tools for Efficiency: Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), scheduling platforms, and data analytics to maintain a streamlined and transparent hiring process.

A Day in the Life

Your day might start by reviewing a shortlist for a client hiring a remote UX designer, followed by a video interview with a candidate transitioning from a nonprofit background. Later, you’ll sync with the DEI lead to ensure the inclusive workplace policies are reflected in recruitment communications, then wrap up by compiling hiring data insights into a dashboard for leadership.

You’ll move between tasks with confidence, knowing your work actively contributes to building a workforce that mirrors the world we live in.

Qualifications You Bring

  • At least three years of hands-on experience in recruitment or talent sourcing, particularly within remote or distributed team environments
  • Familiarity with inclusive hiring strategies, DEI principles, and bias mitigation tactics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—both written and verbal
  • Proven capability to manage tasks autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration with a globally dispersed team
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tech tools (ATS, CRM, video interview platforms)
  • Experience working across time zones and managing priorities in a virtual setting
