Job Responsibilities

As a Security Guard, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Monitoring Premises: Regularly patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates, and ensure that any unusual activity is reported immediately.
2. Access Control: Manage access points by monitoring and controlling the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles. Check identification badges, maintain visitor logs, and enforce security policies.
3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents. Act as a first responder in emergencies, providing immediate assistance until help arrives.
4. Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and unusual occurrences. Submit these reports to your supervisor daily.
5. Customer Service: Provide a welcoming environment by assisting visitors and staff, answering questions, and addressing any concerns related to security.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and internal teams to ensure a cohesive security strategy.
7. Training Participation: Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated on the latest security protocols and technologies.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations governing security operations.

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: While prior experience in security is an advantage, freshers are welcome to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Skills:
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures is a plus.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Certifications: Possession of a security guard certification or license is an advantage but not mandatory.
