Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for driving the strategic direction and execution of the talent acquisition function across various departments. The successful candidate will lead the recruitment process, develop strategies to attract top-tier talent and create innovative hiring processes that align with our organizational goals. You will work closely with senior leadership to understand staffing needs, forecast hiring demands, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of recruiters and will act as a strategic partner to various business units. In this fully remote role, you will leverage cutting-edge recruitment technologies, social media, and networking channels to source and recruit candidates globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Recruitment Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the companyโ€™s goals and values.
    • Forecast future hiring needs based on business growth plans and work closely with department heads to ensure alignment.
    • Lead the design, development, and execution of talent attraction and retention initiatives.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and market intelligence to adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
  2. Candidate Sourcing:
    • Build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, recruitment marketing, employee referrals, and headhunting.
    • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to find passive candidates.
    • Partner with recruitment agencies when necessary to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
    • Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of sourcing methods and adjust as necessary.
  3. Interviewing and Selection Process:
    • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiations.
    • Establish standardized hiring practices and guidelines to ensure consistency and fairness in the recruitment process.
    • Lead or participate in interviews, guiding hiring managers on best interview practices and candidate selection.
    • Implement assessments, evaluations, and other selection methods that ensure candidates meet the necessary technical and cultural requirements.
  4. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition specialists and recruiters.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the recruitment team.
    • Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the recruitment team.
    • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure team members meet or exceed targets for speed, quality, and diversity in hiring.
  5. Employer Branding:
    • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to enhance employer branding efforts.
    • Lead initiatives that promote the company as an employer of choice, including participating in job fairs, webinars, and online events.
    • Oversee the development of recruitment content for social media platforms, career websites, and recruitment campaigns.
    • Engage in talent marketing strategies to increase awareness and improve the companyโ€™s attractiveness to top talent.
  6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the recruitment process.
    • Design and implement strategies to ensure diverse candidate pools for every open position.
    • Monitor recruitment metrics to track diversity hiring efforts and ensure they are aligned with organizational goals.
    • Foster a culture of inclusion within the recruitment team and among hiring managers.
  7. Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and cost-per-hire.
    • Generate regular reports on recruitment performance, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
    • Present hiring trends and insights to senior leadership, providing recommendations to optimize the hiring process.
    • Implement and utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masterโ€™s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven success in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that attract top talent.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a history of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
