Key Responsibilities:

- Compliance Monitoring:
- Ensure that all educational programs comply with applicable regulatory standards, including accreditation requirements, state or national educational regulations, and organizational policies.
- Monitor adherence to instructional best practices, accessibility standards, and data privacy requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews of courses to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulations and standards.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, highlighting areas of non-compliance, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Document the review process, including any communication with instructors, instructional designers, and program administrators.
- Present audit findings to stakeholders, including leadership, instructional teams, and compliance officers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audit activities and findings.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with instructional designers, educators, and program managers to ensure that courses meet organizational standards and address any identified deficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear explanations of audit findings and recommendations.
- Work closely with compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and address any compliance-related issues.
- Act as a resource for educators and instructional designers, providing guidance on best practices for instructional design and compliance with educational standards.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with emerging trends in online education, instructional design, and educational technology.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance auditing skills and knowledge of instructional best practices.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of audit processes, tools, and criteria to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the instructional audit function.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish benchmarks for instructional quality and monitor course effectiveness based on predefined metrics.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and accuracy in instructional audits.
- Ensure that courses provide an engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning environment for all students, regardless of their backgrounds or learning needs.
Qualifications:
- Education:
A bachelorโs degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field is required. A masterโs degree in a similar field is preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional auditing, educational compliance, instructional design, or a related field. Experience with online education programs and e-learning platforms is highly desirable. - Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and online learning environments.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify areas of improvement in instructional programs.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously and meet deadlines.
