Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and Secure Premises: Ensure the safety of the designated premises by regularly patrolling the assigned area and monitoring entrances and exits. This includes the use of surveillance systems such as CCTV, video monitoring, and alarm systems.
2. Access Control: Manage the entry and exit of personnel and vehicles. Check identification badges, inspect visitor vehicles, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
3. Emergency Response: Act swiftly and effectively in case of emergencies, such as fire, theft, or unauthorized access. Coordinate with emergency services when needed and follow protocols to ensure the safety of everyone on-site.
4. Report Incidents: Record and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, accidents, or hazards in the daily logbook. File detailed incident reports with management or local authorities when required.
5. Customer Service: Provide courteous assistance to visitors and employees, offering directions or other helpful information when necessary.
6. Maintain Equipment: Regularly check and maintain security equipment such as radios, alarm systems, and surveillance cameras to ensure they are functioning properly.
7. Surveillance: Actively monitor the property using CCTV cameras and other systems to identify potential threats and take preventive actions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Prior experience in a security-related role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and stay alert for long shifts.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, or Marathi to communicate with team members and the general public.
• Observation Skills: A keen eye for detail to identify suspicious behavior or activity.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to think quickly, assess situations accurately, and respond with the appropriate actions.
• Certification: A security guard license issued by the government of Maharashtra (or willingness to obtain it).
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Working Conditions:

• Shifts: Security guards will be required to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Overtime may be required during emergencies.
