Job Overview

As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Patrol Assigned Areas: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards.
• Access Control: Manage access points by checking identification, logging visitor information, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action, including alerting law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Utilize CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the premises, ensuring immediate reporting of any irregularities.
• Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring all information is documented for future reference.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, addressing their concerns and inquiries while maintaining professionalism.
• Emergency Preparedness: Participate in emergency drills and training sessions, familiarizing yourself with emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other security personnel and departments to ensure comprehensive coverage and communication across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications: A valid security guard license (as required by local laws) and CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Skills: Strong observational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to perform duties that may require standing for long periods and responding to emergencies.
