Job Summary:

As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety and security at assigned locations. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring premises, preventing theft and vandalism, and ensuring a secure environment for our clients and their customers. We are looking for individuals who are observant, trustworthy, and capable of handling emergencies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance and Monitoring:
   • Continuously patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
   • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms, responding promptly to any suspicious activities or emergencies.
2. Access Control:
   • Control access points by checking the identification and credentials of personnel and visitors.
   • Ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry into secure areas.
3. Emergency Response:
   • Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches, following established protocols.
   • Assist law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
4. Reporting:
   • Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, including any disturbances or unusual occurrences.
   • Prepare and submit incident reports to management when necessary.
5. Customer Service:
   • Provide assistance and guidance to customers, staff, and visitors, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
   • Address any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
6. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with other security personnel and staff to ensure cohesive operations.
   • Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on security protocols and policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills:
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be physically fit and capable of standing or walking for long periods.
  • Ability to lift moderate weights as required.
