Security Guard - Mumbai Locations

Job Description:

We are seeking professional and dedicated security guards to join our team in Mumbai. As a security guard, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties, employees, and customers. You will be responsible for enforcing rules, responding to incidents, and protecting the premises from any potential threats. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises: You will patrol and monitor premises on a scheduled basis to ensure security and maintain order. You will also monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Access control: You will manage the flow of people in and out of the premises by checking identification and verifying credentials.
• Respond to incidents: You will be responsible for responding quickly and effectively to any alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activity, coordinating with the relevant authorities when necessary.
• Customer service: Maintain a polite and approachable demeanor while assisting employees, visitors, and clients. You will also provide directions and general assistance when required.
• Report writing: Document all incidents, breaches, and suspicious activities in detailed reports. Ensure that these records are submitted on time to supervisors or other relevant personnel.
• Emergency response: Act swiftly and appropriately during emergencies such as fire outbreaks, medical situations, or other incidents that require immediate attention.
• Enforce rules and regulations: Ensure that all rules, policies, and safety guidelines are followed by everyone on the premises.
• Maintain professional conduct: Uphold a professional and composed attitude in all interactions with staff, visitors, and external parties, even under stressful conditions.
• Maintain equipment: Ensure that security tools such as surveillance cameras, radios, and alarm systems are functioning correctly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good physical condition, capable of standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to handle stressful situations and act calmly in emergencies
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and emergency procedures is a plus
• Valid security license or certification
• Basic knowledge of first aid
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in commercial or residential settings
• Familiarity with security technology such as biometric systems and metal detectors
• Training in conflict resolution or self-defense
