Job Description:

As an ATM Security Guard, you will be responsible for safeguarding automated teller machines (ATMs) and ensuring the safety of customers, employees, and the surrounding premises. Your primary duty will be to deter criminal activity and maintain a secure environment for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols around the ATM premises to deter potential criminal activity. Utilize surveillance equipment effectively to monitor the surroundings and identify any suspicious behavior or unauthorized individuals.
2. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any alarms or distress calls from the ATM site. Take appropriate action in case of emergencies, including contacting law enforcement, medical services, or relevant authorities as necessary.
3. Customer Assistance: Provide assistance and support to ATM users as needed. Help customers with inquiries, guide them through the transaction process, and ensure their safety while using the ATM facilities.
4. Cash Protection: Ensure the secure transportation of cash to and from the ATM site. Collaborate with cash management personnel to implement protocols for cash replenishment and collection while minimizing risks of theft or robbery.
5. Safety Protocols: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on the premises. Conduct regular inspections of the ATM area to identify and address any potential hazards or maintenance issues.
6. Report Writing: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including incidents, observations, and any relevant information. Prepare detailed reports documenting security incidents, breaches, or irregularities for review by management or law enforcement.
7. Customer Education: Educate ATM users on safety practices and security measures to protect themselves from fraud, theft, or other security threats. Promote awareness of common scams or tactics used by criminals targeting ATM facilities.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies, security personnel, and other stakeholders to enhance security measures and address security concerns effectively. Participate in training sessions or drills to improve response capabilities and coordination.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years, with no upper age limit (both fresher and experienced candidates are welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties effectively.
• Understanding of security protocols and procedures.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Prior experience in security or law enforcement is advantageous but not required.
